I’m Christakis Mina, an engineer, researcher, programmer, and technology enthusiast with extensive experience working across engineering, construction, academia and software development. I have lived and worked in different parts of the world and have been based in Japan for a large portion of my life. My professional background combines engineering, risk and project management with a long-standing interest in computers, programming, open-source software, artificial intelligence, and technology.
This blog is a place where I share things that interest me, things I have learned, and occasionally things that simply make me think. Topics will range from technology, programming, and software development to cybersecurity and bug bounty hunting, including practical experiences and observations from the perspective of an ethical hacker and technology enthusiast.
I will also write about entrepreneurship and startups in Japan, particularly the challenges and opportunities of building technology businesses in the Japanese market. Other posts may cover photography, Japanese society and everyday life, politics, and observations from living in Japan as someone with an international background.
